Our monthly prayer meetings are held at 7.30pm on the last Tuesday of the month at Ivybridge Methodist Church - all welcome.
In June & July we plan to walk up Western Beacon - meeting at Harford Road railway bridge and praying up the top. If the weather is terrible we'll meet at Ivybridge Methodist Church.
If you would like to be part of our prayer group, please contact Pat Reynolds at johnpatr@tiscali.co.uk or give her a ring on Plymouth 894353.
To receive a prayer email once a week about one particular event that is on our hearts please email ivybridge@yfc.co.uk and we will add you to the list.
Healing On The Streets (HOTS) is simply ordinary Christians from many different churches praying for peoples’ healing on the streets of our towns and cities. It's amazing what happens when the church leaves the building and begins to give away what God has given it! For information on HOTS in Ivybridge and Plymouth see Local HOTS.

Jesus said:
"Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do."
(John 14.13)
So in faith we simply have to ask our Father in heaven in Jesus' name for all our needs - and that goes for YFC work too. In order to pray in an informed way for your local YFC we have listed our objectives and current activities below:
Fundraising
We are always grateful for your efforts. Recently (Summer 2010) a Plympton lady raised £84 for us by holding a quiz competition. A big thankyou to you.
If the Lord lays it on your heart to support the project financially, please contact John Reynolds our treasurer.
Please let us know if you have any other fundraising ideas. You can contact Helen our administrator at ivybridge@yfc.co.uk.

Pat Reynolds - Prayer Co-ordinator
Pat writes:
Prayer is an amazing gift from God. The Almighty Creator God promises to hear you and me whenever we turn to Him. James 5.16 tells us that the prayers of righteous people are powerful and effective. Prayer builds up our personal relationship with God and we learn to hear His voice, to be quiet before Him, and to bring all things large and small before Him. When we come together to pray "with one accord", we as individuals join together becoming a strong voice crying out to our God in unity. Jesus said:
"If two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven.
(Mat 18.19,20)"
Thank you to all those who have committed to pray for YFC.
