Our Aim
Our God-given mission is to take the good news found in the Bible to every young person in the Ivybridge Area.
We go into areas not always touched by local churches e.g. schools, streets, parks, and beaches. But of course we also support churches in their mission to children and young people.
Key areas of our work
- Schools - Primary and Secondary
- Streets and Parks - including football missions
- Mentoring young people into leadership
- Bringing young people together at youth worship events
- Discussing social justice issues with young people
- Youth Alpha
- Supporting youthwork visions of churches
Local Activities
YOUTH ALPHA COURSE
EXPLORE THE MEANING OF LIFE
We ran Youth Alpha last Autumn at Ivybridge Methodist Church.
YOUTH ALPHA is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening way over ten thought-provoking sessions. More than 8 million people around the world have done the Alpha course in churches, homes, schools, youth groups, universities and prisons. Basically, if you're 11-18 years old and interested in getting some of life big questions sorted, and want to work out what
you believe for yourself, then come along. The good news that the course itself is FREE!
The Net: Youth Worship Service in Plymouth
Cafe, worship, talks and testimonies. Open to all young people at secondary school.
